Belfast Community Gospel Choir will be in concert in Lisburn Cathedral on Friday December 7.
The choir has had a bumper year bringing a message of ‘peace, joy and love,’ and even had the privilege of singing for her Majesty the Queen on her recent visit to Belfast.
Lisburn Cathedral offers a spectacular venue with great acoustics for soulful voices in the heart of Lisburn City. The performance will deliver something for people of all ages and provide a memorable night to help you kick of the festive season in style.
The choir, led by their charismatic director and founder, Marie Lacey, performs with energy and passion. In a similar vein to London Community Gospel Choir, the sound BCGC produce is nothing short of dynamic as they belt out traditional gospel classics together with songs penned by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and the Beatles.
The choir takes pride in the fact that it is completely multicultural and cross community with members coming from across the country.
