Children from Linn Primary School will lead the praise at a family–friendly carol service this Sunday December 9 at 6.30pm at All Saints’, Linn Road, Craigyhill.
The special event will feature the Senior Choir singing three seasonal pieces, with the school Brass Band leading congregational carols.
The children will also be acting out a children’s Christmas story [Papa Panov originally written by Leo Tolstoy], with an All–Age talk being given by the Rev Roger Thompson [rector of St Patrick’s with All Saints’]. This will include a quiz with prizes, and refreshments will be served after the service.
Roger said: “We are very fortunate to have the Linn Primary School children coming to enliven our Christmas celebrations this year, and our thanks must go to the Principal, Mrs Duff, and her staff for organising it.
“We are looking forward to a really special evening and extend a warm invitation to parents and any other visitors who may wish to come along.”
