Dare to walk on fire for charity?

Any daredevils interested in playing with fire – and supporting a good cause into the bargain – are invited to sign up as a firewalker!

The event, taking place in Belfast on April 13, will raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Globalteer Cambodian Water Filter Programme.

Participants will be asked to raise £25 each to take part in the challenge which is happening at the Farset International Hotel.

Last year Church House staff Margaret Yarr and Sylvia Lockhart were sponsored to trek in Cambodia, raising vital funds for Marie Curie. Safeguarding Trust Officer Margaret’s son Nathan was part of the team which trekked in Cambodia, and Nathan is now fundraising to return to Cambodia for six weeks with Globalteer’s Water Filter programme.
