Lisburn Cathedral’s website comes out tops in communications competition

Lisburn Cathedral's winning website.Lisburn Cathedral was one of the big winners in the annual Church of Ireland Communications Competition.

The Cathedral won first place in the Parish Website category of the competition which is organised by the Central Communications Board. The results were announced on the final day of General Synod in Armagh.

The website was praised for its good design, graphics and for being easy to follow. The judges also noted that the site has lots of space and simple but good use of images.

Connor Connections picked up the runner’s up award in the Diocesan Magazine category. The diocesan magazine, which is published three times a year and is distributed free to 11,500 households, was praised for lots of interesting content and good use of colour. Winner in the category was the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe’s N:Vision.

Derry and Raphoe also won the Diocesan Website category, with the Diocese of Down and Dromore runner up.
