The Archbishop of Armagh, The Most Rev Dr Richard Clarke, has joined with others in endorsing a cross church campaign in support of the upcoming talks with Dr Richard Haass.
The campaign is to encourage all who are taking part and the wider community to seek the common good at this time.
Entitled ‘Hope and History – Building Peace in Northern Ireland,’ the campaign invites members of the churches to sign up to a statement that gives positive support to all those who are committed to making peace work and to improve relationships into the future.
‘Hope and History’ has been devised by members of various churches including the Rev Dr Heather Morris, President of the Methodist Church in Ireland; Cardinal Seán Brady and the Rev Dr Rob Craig, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
The statement can be read at www.hopeandhistory.com where you can also sign your support.
