Bishop of Connor leads Holy Week in Christ Church, Lisburn

The Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, will be in Christ Church Parish, Lisburn, to lead Holy Week 2014.

Events will include daily worship from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, curry and a chat with the Bishop for people in their 20s and 30s on the Tuesday evening, a barbecue for the community held in the church grounds on Maundy Thursday, the Lord’s Supper and foot washing in the parish hall later that day and a City Centre Walk of Witness on Good Friday.

13 April – Palm Sunday

11.30 am Holy Communion
6.30 pm Readings and Hymns for Palm Sunday and an introduction by Bishop Alan
7.00 pm Youth Fellowship

14 April – Monday
8.00 am Worship in Church

15 April – Tuesday
10.00 am Central PS Assembly
11.00 am Mingle and chat in Coffee Bar
2.00 pm Old Manor House Communion Service
7.30 pm Curry and Chat with Bishop Alan for 20’s & 30’s
