Successful Display by St Patrick’s GFS Ballymena
There was plenty of excitement, dressing up and last minute rehearsals in advance of the GFS Display in St Patrick’s Parish Church, Ballymena, Diocese of Connor.
This year’s display took the theme of ‘The Tomb’ and featured some superb costumes. The senior girls gave an exhibition of keep fit using tins of food which were later put into two boxes and taken to the local Food Bank.
Guests of Honour were Mrs Sharon Doak and her daughter Fiona, and Sharon presented the various prize winners with their shield or cup and of course that very important piece of chocolate, the Easter Egg.
The Display was a great success and all the hard work finally paid off on the night. Thanks especially to Karen, Anne, Debbie and Elaine for getting the girls ready for the big night.
