Media focus on Belfast Cathedral
St Anne’s Cathedral is scheduled to feature in a two–page ‘Church Focus’ in the News Letter on Saturday May 10.
The feature will look at how the Cathedral is celebrating its colourful past while looking towards a bright future. It will provide a glimpse into St Anne’s history and the many artefacts and items of interest within its walls.
The article will also look at how the Cathedral is engaging with the community through its innovative Cross Community Choir School and events like Culture Night, and highlight St Anne’s exciting plans for the future.
Later this month, The Arts Show on BBC2 on May 15 will be calling into the Cathedral as part of a programme highlighting the artistic and cultural life of the Cathedral Quarter.
TV cameras have captured some of St Anne’s wonderful features including the marble floor, the mosaics by the Martin sisters and the stunning stained glass windows.
The Arts Show will be aired at 10pm on May 15 and repeated on Monday May 19 at 11pm.
