Turning on the style for the 1940s Vintage Tea Party in St Colmanell's. Picture: Alan McCandless and Darren Cumberland.St Colmanell’s, Ahoghill, turned back the years to the 1940s when the parish organised a Vintage Tea Dance.

This was open to the community and all the residents from the Nursing Home next door to the parish hall joined in the fun.

There was afternoon tea, entertainment, games and dancing and the event drew to a close with the singing of the classics The White Cliffs of Dover and We’ll Meet Again. Even the rector, the Rev Gary Millar, below, joined in the entertainment by wooing his wife on a bicycle made for two!
