Youth leaders meet for an inspiring evening

Youth leaders from across the Diocese of Connor joined for INSPIRE, a night of pizza, fellowship, prayer, praise and teaching.

INSPIRE , organised by CIYD/Engage Connor Youth, was held in Randalstown Parish on May 21, and the inspirational guest speaker was the Archdeacon of Belfast, the Ven George Davison.

The event sought to encourage and equip youth leaders for their important ministry. George spoke about the vital role that youth leaders play in the lives of teenagers through not just their words but faithful example.

Andrew Frame (CIYD) facilitated the evening and spoke about some opportunities for youth leaders and young adults through the Foundations programme, which meets every other month at the Dock Cafe, Titanic Quarter, and a new young adults weekend festival at Glenarm called Catalyst.

The Engage Connor Youth team outlined upcoming events and opportunities, namely the Big Connor Summer Madness Campout from June 27 – 1 July @ Glenarm, Connor Takes the Castle weekend from September 5–7 @ Castlewellan Castle, Revel all day youth event @ Muckamore on October 4 and the Christmas special on Saturday December 13 at a venue to be confirmed.
