Successful Auction of Promises fundraiser in Ballymoney
An Auction of Promises recently run by St Patrick’s Parish, Ballymoney, to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Old School House raised more than £5,000.
The parish extends its thanks to everyone who donated a Promise, an item or a visit or who helped in many ways – typing the catalogue, photocopying, taking admission money, making and selling refreshments, portering, making sure that everyone paid for what they bought or putting up with their use of the Parish Centre being disrupted.
A total of £4,707 was raised through sales on the night; £72 for teas; £265 through donations and £278.20 taken in admission money, making a total for the night of £5,322.20. Since then, however, two further items have been sold bringing the final total to £5352.20.
