‘Light for All’ Mission at Drummaul, Duneane and Ballyscullion

The parishes of Drummaul, Duneane and Ballyscullion will be holding a mission from September 25–28, and Bishop Alan will be in the parishes to lend his support.

The Rector, the Rev Derek Kerr, said the Mission was called ‘Light for All’

“It will be a time of encouragement to those involved in the fellowships and outreach to those who once were but have found themselves at a distance or who maybe have never given the Christian faith consideration at all,” Derek said.

Events have been designed to be fun with wide appeal. The programme is as follows:

Tea Dance & Cream Tea music
Thursday 25th Sept
Drummaul Hall 2:30pm
An active afternoon to get the legs moving with & dance led by Dance Unlimited.

Quiz Night
Thursday 25th Sept
Old Bleach Bowling Club 7:30pm
Test your knowledge against the rest, or compete for the booby prize!
Teams of up to 6 people, open to all ages

Mums & Toddlers
Friday 26th Sept Drummaul Hall 10:30am
Enjoy the fun with Jo Jingles, and get inspired with food and healthy eating presentation by Asda.

Friday Fun for All the Children
Friday 26th Sept Drummaul Hall 5pm
Fun, Food and Fellowship for children aged from approx 4 to 11 years old.

Walking Treasure Hunt
Friday 26th Sept
Starting from Drummaul Hall
from 7pm
Solve the clues around the town and enjoy chips from Waves ending with Ice Cream at the hall.

Guided Ramble
Saturday 27th Sept
Antrim Castle Gardens
From 10:30am
Exercise in the fresh air with a walk around the gardens and enjoy the company.

Barn Dance
Saturday 27th Sept Drummaul Hall 7:30pm
Barn Dance and BBQ With Vintage Display
A night of family fun and food

Sunday Service
Sunday 28th Sept
Drummaul Church 11:30am
Followed by Lunch in the Hall afterwards, all are welcome to attend.

Derek said: “At some stage during each event Bishop Alan will bring a gentle encouragement to look to the light of the world who came that all might know him. Hence the title Light For All. Please pray for those organising the events.”
