The appeal will help with the reconstruction of the Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.

The United Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough, in partnership with the United Society, Friends of Sabeel and The Bishops’ Appeal, has launched a fundraising drive to raise money for the Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.

The appeal is a response to the humanitarian situation in Gaza, which Bishop Michael Jackson and Bishop Patrick Rooke describe as ‘harrowing,’ and the need for reconstruction work at the hospital.

The hospital is one of the healthcare institutions in the Palestinian areas which is run by the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem.

The appeal will run throughout the season of Advent, and if anyone in another dioceses wishes to support this work, information is available on the Dublin and Glendalough website, or email jan@inisdor.com; Linda Chambers at us@ireland.anglican.org or Lydia Monds, Bishops’ Appeal at Lydia.monds@rcbdub.org.
