Mission to Seafarers has Christmas wrapped up!
The Mission to Seafarers’ gift wrapping team.
The Mission to Seafarers’ gift wrapping team has been busy getting all the Christmas gifts donated to the Mission ready for distribution to visiting seafarers.
Many of these seafarers will be a long way from home when they call into the Flying Angel Centre at Belfast Docks over the holiday period. The Mission hopes to bring a smile to their faces with a festive and practical gift, normally in the form of toiletries.
Last year, 25 seafarers visited the Centre on Christmas Day and 38 on Boxing Day with a total of 227 calling into the Centre between Christmas Day and New Year Year’s Eve.
