A healing presence to those in need

The Rev Dr Pat Mollan is CEO of the Church’s Ministry of Healing.

The Church’s Ministry of Healing’s mission is to bring Christ’s healing presence to those in need; in body, mind or spirit.

The Rev Dr Pat Mollan was appointed CEO and Director of Ministry in March 2004. Based in Belfast, she travels extensively, lectures on Christian healing, and offers a range of courses and Quiet days.  Training days, Alpha Days away, Spiritual days away and respite time.

Healing Services can be arranged and prayer teams provided, distance is not a concern.  Those with more specialised needs or concerns should speak to Dr Pat directly by phone.    Spiritual direction, discipleship and mentoring for men and women are also offered by the qualified and experienced volunteers.

Prayer ministry teams provide prayer throughout the week for those who have requested it, and the intercession list is prayed at the healing services.  There is an Emergency Prayer Line which provides a rapid prayer response.   Prayer for the Nations is offered twice monthly.

162 Cregagh House is the offices of the Church’s Ministry of Healing.

There is a Healing Service every Friday at lunchtime in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast, and on alternate Tuesdays at 162, the Ministry of Healing office in Upper Knockbreda Road, at 10am where Holy Communion and laying on of hands with prayer is offered.  Individual Prayer Ministry and Prayer Counselling can be arranged by appointment.  The telephone number for the Intercessory Prayer or Emergency Prayer line is (028) 9079 5832.

The counselling service provides a soundly managed, ethically based, professional and competent counselling service to all those in need of emotional support regardless of colour, faith, creed, nationality or sexual orientation.   The Core values are

• Maintain and uphold clear and robust boundaries between professional contact and personal involvement with the client.

The Centre offers hospitality to those who simply want to visit or join one of the activity groups.  There is a chapel for reflection and prayer, rooms for small meetings, and the prayer garden is a place of God’s peace and beauty.

Directions:

This is a large white house with sign by the door – 162 Cregagh House in its own grounds with parking for 10 cars.  It is on the south ring road in Belfast and adjacent to the Rocky Road, on the south side of the dual carriageway.

Approaching from Forestside, pass the top of the Cregagh Road, after the traffic lights, take the second off slip to the right,  complete a U-turn to come back to the house about 200 yards on the left.  Approaching from Castlereagh, come past the entrance to McCaughan Park by 200 yards and it is on the left.

Take public transport to the top of the Cregagh Road and cross at the traffic lights and turn left.
