There will be two Little Lights events in Connor Diocese.

CMS Ireland is hosting two events in Connor Diocese as part of Little Lights – CMSI’s 2015 version of its annual resource for children and young people.

The Little Lights Children’s Resource explores global mission, with a particular focus on DR Congo. Using stories from the bible and examples from around the world today, the material looks at how we can all shine as little lights.

The pack includes original material for four sessions and includes DVD films and individual workbooks. It is aimed at children aged 4-15 and is a great resource for churches who want to encourage a greater interest in mission. There’s also an opportunity to raise funds in support of the work of the Church in DR Congo.

The Little Lights pack will be launched on Monday February 2 at 7:30pm, in St Mark’s, Dundela and the material will also be introduced at a CMSI gathering in Dublin on February 4.

Following these events, CMSI staff will host a number of informal ‘Pit Stops’, including two events in Connor. These drop-in events offer a chance to look at the material, chat with staff or pick up project packs.  The Connor events are:

  • Sunday 8th February – St Patrick’s Halls, Ballymena; any time between 3pm and 4:15pm
  • Tuesday 10th February – St Patrick’s Halls, Coleraine; any time between 8pm and 9:15pm

For more information on the CMSI Children’s Resource and the Pit Stops or to order your resources, visit CMS Ireland’s website or contact their Belfast office.
