Lent Series gets underway in Jordanstown

Bishop Alan addresses his first Lent Seminar for 2015, held in Jordanstown on February 17.

More than 100 people attended the Bishop of Connor’s first seminar for Lent 2015, held in St Patrick’s Parish Hall, Jordanstown, on February 17.

The Bishop, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy, was speaking on the topic of Effecting Change, the third stand of the diocesan Vision Strategy. He has spoken on the first two strands, Engaging Culture and Empowering Ministry, in previous Lent seminars.

As usual, Bishop Alan will deliver two seminars at a venue in each of Connor’s three archdeaconries.

Seminars still to come are as follows:

• Tuesday 24^th February Bushmills Parish Centre
• Tuesday 3^rd March   Christ Church, Lisburn (Church Hall)
• Monday 9^th March Jordanstown Parish Centre
• Wednesday 18^th March Bushmills Parish Centre
• Tuesday 24^th March Christ Church, Lisburn (Church)
