Connor Connections Spring 2015 is now available.

Connor Connections Spring 2015 is now available.

The latest edition of the Connor Diocesan magazine Connor Connections is available now free to all parishioners.

Featuring St Paul’s, Lisburn, parishioner Lisa Carson and the African Children’s Choir she toured with all last year on the front cover, the magazine has a host of stories from around the diocese.

They include an article on Lisburn Cathedral parishioner Neville Jones, who has taken up the role of Assistant Director of the charity Abaana; former air stewardess Daphne McClements, from St Peter’s Parish in Belfast, who has been honoured for her volunteer work, and the team from two Connor parishes who took part in a mission trip to Kathmandu in January.

There is also a round-up of the latest news for children and young people, a visit to Messy Church in Glencairn, north Belfast, a look at parishes like Greenlisand and St Mary Magdalene which are celebrating anniversaries and news from St Anne’s Cathedral, including the erection of a Blue Plaque to Belfast’s first Black Santa, Dean Sammy Crooks.

You can read all this and more in the Spring Connor Connections which also includes the pull-out Count Your Blessings – a very helpful Lent resource from Christian Aid.

Pick up your copy at church this weekend. If anyone outside the diocese would like a copy posted to them, please email a request to dco@connor.anglican.org. The magazine will also be made available on this website in pdf format in due course.
