Learn more about Pastoral Visiting
The Rev Don Gamble.
The Diocesan Lay Council is organising an event to support anyone thinking of becoming a pastoral visitor or setting up a visiting team in their parish.
The Council has invited the Rev Don Gamble to help people considering pastoral visiting to discern whether their ideas are just a whim or God’s calling to action.
Don currently serves as the Lead Chaplain of the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust.
He will be speaking on ‘Rediscovering the gift of pastoral ministry in the church,’ and there will be the opportunity for questions after Don’s talk.
This event takes place in All Saints’ Church in Antrim on Wednesday April 22, beginning at 7:30pm with a short act of worship.
There will be refreshments and the opportunity for networking, and the meeting should be over by 9:30pm.
