St Patrick’s, Broughshane, art competition

St Patrick’s Parish, Broughshane, is organising an art competition for young people aged six to 16.

The competition will coincide with the exhibition of a picture from the International Methodist Art Collection, in St Patrick’s Church from May 23-25.

Entrants should submit an A4 sized picture depicting one  of the following categories:

1. Jesus teaching
2. Jesus healing
3. Jesus praying
4. Jesus’ miracle(s)

The art work should be the unaided work of young person and signed by parent/teacher.

Closing day is May 20 and entries should be submitted to:

St Patrick’s Church,
49 Rectory Gardens,
Broughshane,
Co Antrim
BT42 4LF

The aim of the competition is  to encourage young people to explore religious works of art and to visit a local gallery or church to find inspiration.
