The talents of young artists were on display in St Patrick’s, Broughshane, over the weekend of May 23-15, along with the renowned ‘The supper at Emmaus’ by Roy de Maistre.

The children’s work was on display as part of an art competiton organised by the parish to encourage young people to explore religious works of art and to visit a local gallery or church to find inspiration.

The Church Hall also hosted a Photography Exhibition.

The events were organised to coincide with the Exhibition of the International Methodist Church Collection of Modern Art which was held in The Braid, Ballymena.

‘The supper at Emmaus’ was on loan to St Patrick’s, Broughshane, over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The photography display included old photos of the church and the Broughshane area, modern photos of the church and the incredible flower displays during the recent Easter service,  photos from inside the church, and the Archbishop’s visit to mark the250th Anniversary of the parish.
