Young ladies awaiting their share of all the food provided by Connor Youth Council at last year’s Summer Madness camp. There will be more food available to Connor campers this year.

There will be food glorious food for all those heading from Connor Diocese to enjoy the camping experience at this year’s Summer Madness festival.

Connor Sub Camp will be the place where it all happens and where there will be delicious food provided for evening meals and yummy treats on offer after evening worship.

Special thanks to the Rev Mark Taylor and Connor Youth Council for the food. All you need to bring is a seat !

Evening meals will be available from 5pm on Saturday, at the Bishop’s BBQ on Sunday and at the Connor Sub Camp on Monday.

Every evening following main worship campers are invited to return to Sub Camp for late night hot chocolate and treats.

Anyone camping or visiting Summer Madness who would like to join the Connor camp is asked to contact Engage Connor Youth asap at connoryouthcouncil@gmail.com

Send details of your group – i.e. name of your group, numbers and any specific dietary requirements you may have.

Connor Sub Camp will be located near a giant oak tree. Look out for the Safir teepee which is where you will find all the action.

Anyone heading to Glenarm Estate on Thursday evening to get tents set up should aim for the Connor Sub Camp area. Look out for the teepee and giant oak tree and there will also be a great big friendly bloke called Girvan [Connor Youth Council Rep] wearing a bright orange t-shirt with blessings.  Girvan has kindly volunteered to be of service to campers as they get tents set up. Girvan will be on site on Thursday July 2 from 7pm-9pm to co-ordinate the Connor Sub Camp site.

  • Finally, a reminder that the Connor Street Reach Team will be commissioned in St Anne’s Cathedral on Saturday June 20.
