Services of Ordination for Connor Diocese
The Very Rev Pete Wilcox, Dean of Liverpool, will preach at the Service of Ordination of Deacon Interns on Sunday September 13.
St Anne’s Cathedral will be the venue for the Ordination of Priests in Connor Diocese on Sunday September 6 and for the Ordination of Deacon Interns on Sunday September 13.
The new Priests will be ordained by the Bishop of Connor, the Rt Rev Alan Abernethy. The guest preacher is the Bishop of Derry and Raphoe, the Rt Rev Ken Good. The new priests are: Cameron Jones for the parish of Carrickfergus; Julie Bell for the parish of Christ Church, Lisburn; and Philip Benson for the parish of Larne.

The Intern Deacons will be ordained by the Bishop of Connor. The Very Rev Pete Wilcox, Dean of Liverpool, will preach at the service. The Intern Deacons are: Peter Munce for the parish of Ballymoney; Philip Bryson for the parish of St Bartholomew’s, Belfast; Dennis Christie for the parish of Muckamore, and Aaron McAlister for the parish of Portrush.
Both services begin at 3.30pm in St Anne’s.
