Parishioners from St Paul’s, Lisburn, opened their hearts about how they have experienced God’s love, and youth and family worker Chris Neilands captured their thoughts in a video.
The video, which can be seen on the parish Facebook page, grew out of a ‘Café Church’ service held in St Paul’s on June 19. The service included discussion, prayer, singing and creativity as people considered the simple but life changing truth that God loves us.
Chris wanted people to think about the different ways that God shows his love and decided to ask some members of the St Paul’s family – ‘How have you experienced God’s love?’
The rector, the Rev Canon James Carson, said: “It was great to get such a range of answers and it reminds us that God’s love is shown in a multitude of ways through good times and bad.”
