Archbishop of Canterbury to give 2016 Theological Lecture at Queen’s
Archbishop Justin Welby.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Rev and Rt Hon Justin Welby, will deliver the 2016 Church of Ireland Theological Lecture at Queen’s University on February 8.
Tickets for this event initially sold out within 90 minutes, and to accommodate more people the lecture has now been moved from the Great Hall at Queen’s to the Elmwood Hall.
The lecture begins at 6pm. Anyone wanting to attend should visit www.thehubbelfast.org to be taken through to the Eventbrite booking page.
The Archbishop has chosen the theme of Reconciliation for his lecture and there will be an opportunity for questions following his address. Whilst the organisers cannot guarantee that any particular question may be put to the Archbishop, questions may be submitted in advance via the event page on http://www.thehubbelfast.org/
The lecture will be hosted by the Vice-Chancellor of Queen’s University, Professor Patrick Johnston.
