More than 110 attend Bishop’s first Lent Seminar in Jordanstown

The Bishop of Connor’s annual Lent Seminar series got underway in Jordanstown Parish Centre on Tuesday February 9, with more than 110 people coming along to hear the Bishop speak on the theme of Grace.

The Rt Rev Alan Abernethy will deliver this seminar in Bushmills and Lisburn, and then deliver a second seminar, also on Grace, in the same three venues.

Parishioners from many different churches attended, and as usual there was the opportunity for fellowship over refreshments, and a browse at the Book Well book stall.

Dates and venues for the remaining seminars are as follows:

  • Wednesday 17th February – Bushmills Parish Centre
  • Tuesday  23rd February – Lisburn Cathedral
  • Wednesday 2nd March – Jordanstown Parish Centre
  • Monday 7th March – Bushmills Parish Centre
  • Tuesday 15th March – Lisburn Cathedral
