All the girls of St Patrick’s GFS, Ballymena, have been very busy since Christmas preparing for their Annual Display.   Mums, dads and grandparents gathered on Tuesday night in the Chancellor Craig Memorial Hall to see the end product.

Following the GFS hymn ‘Lead Us Heavenly Father Lead Us’ and prayer, the various sections entertained the assembled gathering with a brilliant night’s activities.

There was everything from the candidates marching and taking part in a play to the members and junior members performing PE in the darkened hall with only torches outlining their movements followed by dancing and singing.

The evening ended with the special guests Sharon Doak and Ruth Dixon presenting the cups and trophies and Easter Eggs.  Anne Crawford, one of the leaders, then made a special announcement that one girl of the Members Section had been awarded 1st place in the GFS Diocese of Connor Bible Study, two of the Junior Members were awarded a 2nd place and a 3rd place awarded to one of the Candidates.  In all a very successful year.
