St Peter’s Parish Church, Antrim Road, Belfast, held a Bridge Drive on Friday March 18 and raised more than £1,000 for charity.

The money will be shared between the NI Hospice and Lighthouse. Both are charities based in north Belfast – Lighthouse helps young people dealing is problems including self harm and suicide issues.

The Bridge Drive was supported by the local community and also by bridge clubs as far away as Lisburn and Bangor. The organisers expressed thanks to those traders who generously supported the ballot.

Held in the parish hall, the event was attended by more than 80 people, who enjoyed supper served in a grand style with linen supper cloths and antique cake stands!
