Retirement of the Rev Paul Redfern
The Rev Paul Redfern and his wife Betty cut the cake presented to them to mark Paul’s retirement from Kilbride Parish.
The Rev Paul Redfern took his last service as Rector of St Bride’s Parish Church, Kilbride, on Easter Sunday.
Paul has retired after more than 12 years in the parish, and to mark the occasion he and his wife Betty were surprised with a lovely cake at the Easter Sunday service.
Betty was presented with a bouquet of flowers and the church choir sang a special anthem (The Clare Benediction) dedicated to Paul and Betty.
Before Easter, the Select Vestry took Paul and Betty out to dinner to thank them for their years of service to the parish and community of Kilbride.
