Commissioning service for Streetreach 2016
Streetreach takes place in north Belfast from July 5-8.
Connor’s Streetreach 2016 team will be gathering in the Hub, Elmwood Avenue, Belfast, on Saturday June 18 for the annual Commissioning Service.
Bishop Alan Abernethy will be present to share and pray for the team as they prepare for their service in north Belfast this July. The service will begin at 2pm with refreshments and will finish by 3pm.
Everyone is welcome to this service to support the young people of Connor in this missional opportunity. The Commissioning last year was a fantastic opportunity for team members, along with family, friends and members of the Diocese, to hear about what will be involved in Streetreach and pray for the activities planned for the local community.
There will also be an opportunity for young people who have not yet registered for Streetreach to find out more with a registration event starting at 12, just before the Commissioning service.
