Gear up for Kids Big Adventure

Friday September 23rd 2016

kids-big-adventure-thumbConnor’s Diocese’s annual Kids Big Adventure is fast approaching and parishes are encouraged to bring their children’s groups along.

The fun takes place in Ballymoney Parish Hall on Saturday October 8 and in Glenavy Parish Hall on Saturday October 15, with activities from 2pm-5pm each day.

Diocesan Children’s Project Officer Jill Hamilton said: “Our aim is to bring children and leaders from across the diocese together in a joint venture, to have fun, learn together and make friends.

“It is also an opportunity for leaders to get together and have time to chat, ask questions and network with one another.”

This year the theme of Kids Big Adventure is rhythm and activities will be linked to the bible story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho. “Fun with Drums” will lead a drumming workshop.

There will be a leader’s café with tea/coffee and tray bakes and a bookstall with leaders’ and children’s resources.
