Christmas praise featuring Lisburn Community Choirs

The Rector of Lisburn Cathedral, the Very Rev Sam Wright (Dean of Connor), pictured thanking Julie Harper (Musical Director of Lisburn Community Choir) for providing a great evening of Christmas Praise.

Lisburn Cathedral was packed to capacity for an uplifting evening of lessons and Christmas praise featuring Lisburn Community Adult Choir and Children’s Choir on Monday December 12.

The choirs, with Julie Harper (Musical Director) sang a great selection of Christmas songs and carols including ‘Good news,’ ‘No room at the inn’ and ‘This is the season’ (children’s choir) and ‘Christmas lullaby,’ ‘Christmas Joy’ and ‘Have yourself a merry little Christmas’ (adults choir).

The congregational carols included ‘Joy to the world,’ ‘Away in a manger’ and ‘O come all ye faithful.’ Report and pictures by John Kelly.
