National Churches Trust invites applications for maintenance grants

Wednesday March 8th 2017

The National Churches Trust Maintenance Grants Scheme is now open for applications.

The programme offers awards of between £1,000 and £2,500 towards small, urgent maintenance issues or repairs which reduce the need for – and long term costs of – building repairs.

Places of worship of any Christian denomination can apply. The Trust will consider applications for listed buildings of all ages.

This year they are particularly encouraging applications from specific regions including Northern Ireland.

Buildings must have been built as churches originally and have 50 per cent of the funds required already in place.
