St Paul’s Sexton retires after 32 years

Presentations have been made to Mr Ken Burns who has retired having been Sexton at St Paul’s Parish Church, Lisburn, for 32 years.

Ken had worked alongside three rectors during this period – Canon Ken Cochrane, Canon James Carson and the current incumbent, the Rev Arthur Young.

At a retirement tea held immediately after the service on Sunday May 24, Arthur made a presentation to Ken on behalf of the Parish and Select Vestry, Linda Dickey presented a gift on behalf of the GB, and Andrew Maze presented a gift on behalf of the Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade.
