The offering was for the work of the South American Mission Society (SAMS) in Lote Uno (a village supported by St Katharine’s) and the Diocese of Northern Argentina.
After the service a light supper was provided in the Church Hall with tray bakes supplied by the parishes in the deanery.
William said feedback about the evening had been very positive. with one person commenting:
“I really enjoyed the service, the speaker Canon Ruth Patterson was excellent and the interview with Hugo Vergara, Archdeacon of Northern Argentina, was very interesting. I really enjoyed the supper afterwards.”
