The summer issue of the diocesan magazine Connor Connections is now available. The front cover features a colourful snake from the wonderful Patrick’s Mysterious Adventure hosted by our Children’s Council in St Anne’s Cathedral in March.
There is a full report of those fantastic five days and more photos inside. Other articles include an interview with Abaana New Life Choir member Derrick, whose life has been turned around with support of the Lisburn Cathedral Youth Group Mettle, and a peek inside the bell tower of St Patrick’s, Ballymena, where we meet some very dedicated bellringers.
A mission team from Christ Church Parish, Lisburn, returned to St Apollo School in Uganda, and you can read about what they did there and how they found the school was now a place of faith, light and hope.
Our young people have been involved in lots of different activities across the diocese, and you can read all about these, as well as finding out more about the work of the Connor Team at Connect Base in Shankill Road.
There is a look back at the Bishop of Connor’s Lent seminars and all the latest news from Connor Mothers’ Union.
Pick up your free copy in your church to read these stories and lots more. Anyone outside the diocese who would like a copy can email email@example.com. Connor Connections will also be available online from next month.
