St Andrew’s, Colin, celebrates 60 years

Clergy at the 60th anniversary service in St Andrew’s, Colin, on June 25.

The Rev Canon John Budd, rector of Derriaghy, and the Rev Canon Graham, guest preacher, chat with Mrs Ada Kirkwood who has been organist in St Andrews’s for most of the past six decades  during the 60th anniversary service in St Andrew’s, Colin.

A service to celebrate the 60th anniversary of St Andrew’s Church, Colin, in the parish of Derriaghy, was held on Sunday June 25.

The well attended service was conducted by the rector, the Rev Canon John Budd and the guest preacher was The Rev Chancellor George Graham, rector of Dunluce.

St Andrew’s Church was built in 1957 to serve the Colin and Castlerobin areas of the parish.  It was opened and dedicated on Friday June 21 1957.
