Recruitment underway for new Dean of Belfast

Recruitment is underway to appoint a new Dean of Belfast once the position becomes vacant with the departure of the Very Rev John Mann in September.

The post is advertised by the dioceses of Connor and Down and Dromore. Enquiries are invited from clergy of the Church of Ireland and other churches of the Anglican Communion in respect of the vacancy at the Cathedral Church of St Anne.

The Cathedral has a prominent role as a Christian community and is recognised as offering an appropriate centre of worship for civic occasions.  It is committed to ecumenical outreach and charitable activity. St Anne’s is also the focal point for redevelopment of the Cathedral Quarter, with its many opportunities for academic, cultural and business life.
