Almost time for Connor to ‘Take the Castle!’
The annual Connor Takes the Castle youth gathering in the fantastic surroundings of Castlewellan Castle is almost upon us!
Dozens of young people from parishes across Connor will descend on the Castle on Friday evening, September 8, for a weekend of fun, fellowship and teaching.
Diocesan Youth Officer Christina Baillie said it would be an incredible weekend. “We have Play It By Ear, the drama group, sharing with us and leading our sessions to allow the groups to explore more of God’s truth in their lives,” she said.
Exciting activities are planned for Saturday afternoon and the young people will be sharing smores and dancing the night away at the big rave with Billy Fyffe.
