Autumn issue of Connor Connections now available

Friday October 20th 2017

The front cover of the Autumn 2017 Connor Connections. Out now!

The Autumn issue of the  magazine Connor Connections is now available free to all parishioners at every church in the diocese.

This issue features all the latest youth news including Streetreach and the Take the Castle weekend, and an update on Baby Basics, an initiative of Children’s Officer Jill Hamilton and the Northern Belfast Centre of Mission, Connect Base.

There is a report on a special Choral Evensong at Belfast Cathedral to say farewell to Dean John Mann and his wife Helen, and a feature on a medieval herb garden planted at St Cedma’s, Larne, which is pictured on the front cover.

You can read how Ken Tate, sexton at St George’s, Belfast, will return to the Himalaya next month to take part in his second Everest Marathon – quite incredible! And closer to home there is a report on local Connor people who were honoured in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Get the latest news from Yei, read about Holy Trinity, Woodburn’s, summer mission trip to Uganda, and learn more about training for ordination in a special two-page focus.

Connor Connections is available from your parish church. Additional copies can be collected at Church of Ireland House. A pdf of the magazine will be available online soon.
