Santa collects gifts from Holy Trinity Woodburn!

Wednesday December 13th 2017

Children at Holy Trinity Woodburn give presents to Santa to pass on to others.

Santa Claus visited Holy Trinity Woodburn on Sunday December 10 not to hand out presents, but to collect gifts for other boys and girls in Northern Ireland.

The presents were then given to the Board of Social Responsibility to distribute.

This Saturday, December 16, the parish is hosting its second Christmas Community Light Festival. More than 400 attended last year’s Festival and it is hoped even more will come along this year.

This is a joint venture with Jordan Victory Church and features a lantern parade, nativity scene, carol singing, gospel message, Christmas food and a gift from the church to everyone who comes along.

The festival gets underway at 4pm.

Giving is just as much fun as receiving!
