There was a festive atmosphere outside Christ Church, Lisburn, on Saturday December 16 as the church held Carols at the Gate for the fourth year.
From 11am to 12.30pm 50 parishioners joined in singing carols for all who passed by. Refreshments were served to everyone who engaged in conversation as well and gifts of potted plants, crafts and sweets were available for all.
The rector, the Rev Paul Dundas, said: “On a crisp morning, it was wonderful to see so many engaging with the local businesses and all who passed by from the local bus station. The opportunity to show God’s love at Christmas in this way was so enriching to all who took part and all who received.”
