New position for the Rev Denise Acheson

The introduction of the Rev Denise Acheson to the Parish of Holy Trinity & St Silas with Immanuel, Ardoyne, on Sunday May 6.

The Rev Denise Acheson was introduced as part time Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of Holy Trinity & St Silas with Immanuel, Ardoyne, on Sunday May 6.

The service was led by Rural Dean, the Rev Tracey McRoberts, in Holy Trinity Church on Sunday May 6. Mr William Humphrey MLA read the Lesson. 

Denise is a former Dean’s Vicar at Belfast Cathedral and a former rector of St Colman’s, Dunmurry. Prior to that she was curate-assistant in Ballyholme Parish.

Denise was a member of the clergy team at Lisburn Cathedral for a year, a temporary role which ended last August, and afterwards she rejoined the clergy team at Belfast Cathedral following the departure of Dean John Mann, remaining until the installation of Dean Stephen Forde at the start of March.
