Lucy gets paws-on work experience!
Lucy pricks up her ears as a new email pops into Audra’s in-box!
June 22 is Bring Your Dog to Work Day, and Audra Irvine, Connor Diocese’s Synods and Committees Officer, jumped at the chance of a little extra help.
Lucy, her gorgeous three-year-old mixed breed doggy, has been sitting at Audra’s desk all morning getting a paws-on experience of speadsheets, email and whatnot.
No bones about it, Lucy is a keen learner, and this experience could lead to a new career for the cute canine.
Audra has been woofless about keeping Lucy busy, but she may be barking up the wrong tree as Lucy is proving easily distracted, a scratch on the head apparently of more interest than the latest committee minutes!
Bring Your Dog to Work Day is an annual nationwide event that raises money for charities dedicated to making a difference to the welfare of dogs. Find out more.
