Rathlin set to receive visitors from Knock

St Thomas’s Parish Church, Rathlin Island.

The parishioners of St Thomas’s Parish Church, Rathlin Island, are to get a visit from the Rev Canon John Auchmuty and a group of parishioners from St Columba’s, Knock.

The group visiting Connor’s island parish of Rathlin on Sunday will include St Columba’s Parish Organist, Dr Joe McKee, and members of the Parish Choir.

Canon Auchmuty will be conducting the Holy Communion service in St Thomas’s at 11.30am and the visitors are looking forward to spending with the parishioners of St Thomas’s during the day.

They will enjoy a picnic lunch and have some free time to explore the island before returning to Ballycastle on the 5pm ferry.

There will still be a full schedule of service in St Columba’s, Knock, on Sunday.

This is the second parish outing to Rathlin by parishioners from St Columba’s – the last one was in August 2013!
