Save the dates for Mossley Parish Christmas Tree Festival!

Friday August 24th 2018

As of today, Friday August 24, it is 123 days to Christmas, and Mossley Parish is already feeling the festive spirit!

The parish invites you to its ‘Hope of the World’ Christmas Tree Festival, running in the Church of the Holy Spirit from November 29-December 2.

The Festival of 40 seasonal trees will include a poppy display to commemorate those who fell during World War One, marking a century since the end of the war.

A service to open the Christmas Tree Festival will take place on Thursday November 29 at 7.30pm. On the following day the Festival will be open to local schools from 10am-11am, and to the public from 11am-8pm.

On Saturday December 1, the Festival will be open from 10am-8pm, and on the Sunday visitors are welcome to view the displays from 2pm until 6.30pm. The Festival Closing Service will be that evening at 7.30pm.

Admission to the Christmas Tree Festival is free. Donations in aid of Church Funds will be welcome.

Throughout the weekend there will be entertainment from a variety of musicians and the choir, and refreshments will be available in the Parish Centre.
