Connor Clergy Conference underway in Cavan
Opening Eucharist at Connor Clergy Conference.
Connor Clergy Conference got underway in the Slieve Russell Hotel, Co Cavan, on Wednesday afternoon, November 7.
The conference opened with Eucharist celebrated by the Archdeacon of Connor, the Ven Dr Stephen McBride, with lessons read by the Ven Paul Dundas, Archdeacon of Dalriada and the Very Rev Sam Wright, Dean of Connor. Prayers were led by the Archdeacon of Belfast, the Ven George Davison.
Praise was led by musicians the Rev Ian Mills and the Rev Jonny Campbell-Smyth.
Guest speakers at this year’s conference are Dr George Lings and Dr Janet Unsworth. The conference continues until lunchtime on Friday November 9.
