Quilts for Advent exhibition open on December 1&2
A reminder that the Parish Piecemakers of St Cedma’s, Larne, will be hosting their Quilts for Advent exhibition for the third consecutive year on December 1 and 2.
The exhibition depicts the Christmas story as revealed in the nine lessons of the traditional carols service, telling the story of Christmas in a colourful and accessible way.
The quilts are all handcrafted by the Parish Piecemakers, a group of talented quilters who have been meeting together for the past 12 years. All proceeds from the exhibition will go to the Parish Hall Building Fund.
The exhibition will open on Saturday December 1 and Sunday December 2 from 2-4pm each day, with festive afternoon teas in the adjoining hall.
