Training support for faith-based organisations
Faith-based organisations in Northern Ireland play an important role in communities by engaging volunteers in a range of social and community development activities.
This is recognised by the Department for Communities which currently funds a Faith Based Engagement Strand under the Regional Infrastructure Support Programme (RISP).
Although this funding programme is under review, NICVA and RCN are supporting some of the work done by faith-based organisations.
This support includes a range of seminars and training sessions.
