Data Protection Seminars to be held in Connor

The Church of Ireland’s Data Protection Officer Rebekah Fozzard is holding three Data Protection Seminars at venues in Connor Diocese in June.

These will take place as follows:

  • Wednesday June 5 at 7.30pm – Old School House, St Patrick’s, Ballymoney
  • Thursday June 6 at 2.00pm – Christ Church Hall, Lisburn
  • Thursday June 6 at 7.30pm – St Brigid’s Church, Mallusk

Rebekah will also be available for one-to-one sessions for any parishes which has a particular issue or difficulty they would like to discuss with her. These sessions are as follows:

  • Wednesday June 5 between 3pm and 5pm – Old School House, St Patrick’s, Ballymoney
  • Thursday June 6 between 10.30am and 12.30pm – Christ Church Hall, Lisburn
  • Friday June 7 – between 10.30am and 12.30pm – Council Room, Church of Ireland House, Belfast

Rebekah will be giving practical advice and guidance on data protection, there will be an opportunity for questions during the seminars.  Rebekah’s GDPR guidance documents for dioceses and parishes are available on the Church of Ireland website.

Staff, clergy, honorary secretaries, honorary treasurers and parish administrators are encouraged to take up this opportunity to attend one of these seminars.
